Rude! Rude! Rude! I would never recommend anyone to this company they do not even have the ability to have a conversation without an attitude. I have never been so insulted by someone who is “for hire” by the public! Do not waste your time calling them!
The lack of professionalism this woman demonstrated was shocking. In the future, I will deal with any company other than Western Carolina Plumbing!

Steve at Western Carolina Plumbing has winterized and dewinterized our home for at least three years now. He checks on the home and he lets us know of any problems that might have been incurred in our absence. We are very thankful for Steve and Western Carolina Plumbing. Always courteous and helpful with large and small jobs--even making sure that the municipality fixed a problem on their dime rather than ours when a problem was caused by that municipality.
I called them and was able to get a plumber here the same day!!! He was experienced and fixed what was wrong which was a leak under my kitchen sink due to a poor connection. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star review was I was charged 1.5 hours of labor "due to faulty directions" to my house. Actual labor was close to 1 hour and my house is easily found using GPS. I'll definitely use them again for my plumbing needs.
I have never used them personally as I was advised not to by numerous people. They told me they charged way too much for their services and, as I see from several reviews, seems like they were correct. It's also common professional business practice on a large job to pay part up front and the balance upon satisfactory completion. Never heard of a company charging full payment up front, especially in the middle of a job. Sounds pretty unprofessional to me. Definitely won't be getting my business!
However, as mentioned elsewhere, the ownership is terrible! The plumbers finished my rough-in in May, and told me they would be back in 1-2 weeks to do the finish work. After 3 weeks of waiting, I received a hateful voicemail from the woman who runs their billing. She demanded payment (for half of a completed job) and refused to schedule the finish work. This was not part of my agreement with the plumbers, but I paid her anyway. She was incredibly rude to my staff and myself, and made a point to tell me that they had called the town inspectors to remove their plumbers from my building permits. So, after three weeks of holding my job hostage, I now have to find a new plumber and pull a new permit.
