When I say this, I Truly Speak from Experience. Dustin Smith at Triangle Auto is one of the Best Mechanics I ever been around in the 24 Years I’ve been in the Towing and Automotive Industry! I have taken Many of My Customer’s to his shop and not Only do they Excellent Auto Repair, I know for a Fact they have Saved People Thousands of Dollars on Costly Repairs! It’s Truly a One Stop Shop and if something Happens after the Repair THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK! Which means a lot to me, it’s my Job to find a Qualified Auto Shop for the Individuals I assist ! I Highly and Strongly Recommend Tiangle Auto! You can’t make a Car that’s worn out run like you just drove off the Dealership Lot, and if anyone can Triangle is your Best Option!
I took my Dodge Dakota there to be check do to not cranking they quickly came back saying it's out of time. When I asked them to dig a little deeper because I just had that motor put in they sat on it for a month. Came back with the same response. I ended up towing it home I popped the hood and put my motor to top dead center and all my marks lined up. I then went down there and asked about it the owner told me he was right in his diagnostic and will not discuss it anymore. I asked for my money back because clearly he did not know what he was doing and he told me to get the hell out of his shop. I will not recommend this shop to anyone.
Dustin and Doyle are like family. Great mechanics and the shop is locally owned and operated. Highly recommend this establishment to anyone. - Tom
Update: after some extensive checking. Going through checking voltage and grounds I found that the can shaft sensor I put in from the parts store was faulty. Replaced the part again and it started right up. Guess it wasn't my timing after all. O and by the way I might not be the best mechanic in the world but I am a certified machanic I just did not have the time to work on my own stuff. Triangle Automotive has once again shown there true collors he wanted over 500 dollars to fix my timing and it came down to a 30 dollar part.
Very friendly, trustworthy and reasonable. Dependable work.
I know most people start off their reviews saying, "I don't usually write bad reviews", but in this case, it is the unfortunate truth... I took my car in for an estimate for a squealing belt. I was given a best and worse case scenario price range. $400-$800, probably more. I didn't tell the tech I was a GM for several Sears automotive shops in Florida that actually did a lot of mechanical repairs (not just tires and oil changes). Of course, I was a little suspicious. I took my car to another shop that told me I probably just needed a serpentine belt and maybe a pulley. So I decided to go with the shop with the lower estimate, taking a chance since I have always had my car repairs done by Triangle and so has my family. The shop foreman later called me and told me he had bad news. He would have to replace 2 pulleys , the belt tensioner and the belt. He apologized that it was going to cost $250! Needless to say, I will never be taking my car to Triangle ever again!
