I've bought quite a few cakes from Nettie"s--for birthdays, graduation, anniversaries, Easter, Christmas and for other special gatherings. Each has been beautiful, delicious and unique. Kristin is very flexible and creative. I appreciate that there are so many sizes and flavor options from which to choose.
I love their pastries! They have a couple of delicious gluten free dessert options and have lunch sandwiches made on their own fresh bread. Yum!!

This is a great bakery ran by a mother-daughter team. Highly recommend scheduling a high tea. It's worth every penny (and calorie!).
If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. My bestfriend was getting married in Waynesville over the weekend. We went to Nettie's to clarify some things about her wedding cake, to have breakfast, and pickup goodies for the pre-wedding festivities. When arrived we looked at the pastries and menu, we asked if they served eggs. In a very unfriendly and unpleasant manner we were told "we don't serve eggs, we're a bakery". There were 5 of us standing there and all had the same response, shock. After that we explained who we were and that Nettie's was making the wedding cake. She said the cake wasn't made yet and we couldn't see it. It was 11am the day of the wedding, so we had a hard time believing that. We asked several other questions and were, once again, met with a very unpleasant response. We ended up leaving without buying a thing. Once the cake arrived IT WAS HIDEOUS!!!! In such a small town, you'd expect better customer service, but not at Nettie's!
