Kandi's has the best apple pie I've ever had!! I visited Waynesville in October and not only was I impressed by the pie, but also the friendliness and customer service in the bakery. Everyone in the bakery wanted to make sure all the customers were taken care of. They were so wonderful, true small town hospitality.

I ordered a rather complicated cake last minute for my daughters birthday, and went to pick it up with low expectations due to the nature of my requests. I wish I could leave more than five stars...it was so beautiful and delicious. Kandi's sets a standard for what a bakery should be. Will definitely be my go to from now on for any baked good past my own skill level.
These are hands-down the best baked goods in Waynesville. The staff are friendly and kind, and the pastries are to die for. I had their tea cookies and cinnamon rolls and nearly fell out of the car - they were so good! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, however - be warned - they're only open Thursday thru Saturday
I live out of town and wanted to place a small order of cookies for a relative there. We found out we were going to be having a girl and wanted to surprise our family there with pink cookies. I called and asked for 6 plain pink sugar cookies, and explained what it was for. The shop went above and beyond. They decorated the cookies beautifully- dipping them in icing and putting cute polka dots on them. They also wrote "it's a girl on half of them", and put pink and blue ribbon around the box. I was blown away with how beautiful they were, and how amazing this customer service was. It was so incredibly sweet of them, not to mention they were very friendly on the phone. I'll definitely be leaving positive reviews everywhere I can and will be visiting every time I'm in town!
