Awesome place to shop, even when employees are super busy they stop to help however they can. I was shopping for shoes and one employee even brought up the shoe I wanted in a larger size because she said they typically ran small. Fit like a glove! Talk about great service!
I wish I could give this place 10 stars. Upon entering the building you feel like you just stepped back in time 90 years. What an excellent experience.
However, it is pricey.
Friendly staff and large selection of a little bit of everything you could want. Snacks and candy? Outdoor attire and gear? Cooking and home decor? Games and toys? Shoes and other every day wear? They have it all.
Fantastic general store. They carry anything from Patagonia jackets and old time candy to southern ties. There should be something for everyone in the downtown Waynesville classic establishment.
This is a fantastic store that has something for everyone. I get so much of my Christmas shopping done here because it's so easy to find things that will make people happy, from pretty sweaters for my grandma, hiking boots and camping equipment for the guys, to unique toys for the kids. Their inventory is consistently high quality- I use cast iron pans that I bought here a decade ago very regularly and they are still as great today as they were the day I bought them. Their staff is friendly and helpful. Their candy store is INCREDIBLE!
