I realize that banks would rather you do things online for most of your typical needs and I usually do! I worked at a bank I understand how busy things can get. There are times when you would like to be handled by a local person that you can talk to and relate with! I will not name names, but when I called into the branch the the employee was rude, condisending and informed me that I could do the same thing online. I realize this but I wanted to talk to a local person. She then placed me on hold for over 6 minutes! I hung up and I am strongly considering stwitching to a Bank that will treat their customers with better local customer service.
